Whilst away with network Affiliate Future on their annual Barbados affiliate incentive, owner of discountcodes.co.uk Chris Frost didn’t rush to get his site back online when a traffic spike sent him over his bandwith limit for June.

Reports are that Chris known as Frostie in affiliate circles was aboard a Catamaran on a boozy trip drinking the local Mount Gay rum for the day.

Once alerted to the news, Chris opted to continue his fun in Barbados before getting his bandwidth limit increased the next day.

Rumours that shopcodes.co.uk owner Ray Theakston had entered the discountcodes.co.uk site in the Orange’s balloon race (Theakson’s day job is at Orange) to knock out Frostie’s website whilst Chris wasn’t able to cope with a traffic spike were proved unfounded.
